Kimpton Hong Kong opens in 2025 September with a sky-high infinity pool, pet-friendly rooms and five stylish dining landmarks from HK$2,466!
There’s a new hotel in Hong Kong! Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, a stylish boutique hotel brand from the U.S., will open the Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong on Herd Road in Tsim Sha Tsui in September 2025. Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong will open in September 2025 and will be located in the heart of the city’s Tsim Sha Tsui district. The new 36-storey hotel will feature 495 designer rooms and suites, some overlooking Victoria Harbour. The new Kimpton in Hong Kong will break the mold of traditional hotels and bring a new type of hotel experience that combines design, lifestyle, food and community in the spirit of “Come As You Are”. The hotel can be booked through IKEA’s official website, and the earliest available date is November 1, with room rates starting from HK$2,466 (HK$2,787 with service charge) for a 1-night stay in the King Essential East Sea View room type.
Convenient location and design
The Kimpton Hotel Hong Kong is located at 11 Middle Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, the former location of the famous Boatmen’s Club, adjacent to K11 Musea, Salisbury Gardens and the Avenue of Stars. Designed by Australian design firm Hassell, the hotel blends Hong Kong’s local streetscape inspiration with contemporary Asian aesthetics, and utilizes natural stone, metal structures and timber textures to create a sense of calm elegance and playfulness.
5 Great Dining: Chinese, Southeast Asian and Bar!
For food and beverage, the hotel has partnered with leading local food and beverage group Leading Nation Hospitality to introduce five distinctive restaurants and bars: Birdsong Café & Lounge, helmed by Michelin chef Vicky Lau, serves fragrant Elephant Grounds artisanal coffee during the day, and transforms into a soft lounge bar at night, offering a creative Chinese dining experience with aromatherapy elements; Hillside Swimming Pool is the perfect place to enjoy Chinese cuisine with a twist. Birdsong Café & Lounge, managed by Michelin chef Vicky Lau, offers aromatic Elephant Grounds coffee during the day and a soft lounge bar at night, offering a creative Chinese cuisine experience with aromatherapy elements; Hillside Swim Club specializes in Mediterranean and Southeast Asian styles, featuring a family-style shared menu concept and vintage swim club elements for a relaxed and rhythmic experience; and Swim Club, a pool bar on the top floor of the hotel, mimics the pool culture of Southern California by offering swimmers a chance to enjoy a relaxing swim while enjoying a relaxing swim. On the top floor of the hotel is Swim Club, a pool bar that mimics the Southern California pool culture and allows people to enjoy handcrafted cocktails while swimming; another focal point is the hidden Speakeasy bar, High Dive, which seats eight and features limited edition spirits and highly customized mixology experiences; and lastly, JĪJĀ, which will be opening later on, is also a Chinese cuisine concept curated by Ms. Liu Yunqi.

In terms of healthy living, Kimpton will be the first hotel in Hong Kong to introduce international fitness brand HYROX, featuring a functional training area, a state-of-the-art fitness studio and an indoor yoga space. The most attractive feature is the 50th floor outdoor heated infinity pool, with views of Victoria Harbour in front of you. Kimpton has always been known for its pet-friendliness, and the Hong Kong branch is also open to pets at no extra charge, with a maximum of one pet under 15 kilograms per room, and the hotel will provide pet beds, water bowls, and special welcome packs, making it a true five-star experience for the masters of the house. For families, the hotel offers the Kimpton Kids program, where children under the age of 12 can dine free of charge and are provided with slippers, toothbrushes, picture books and toys in their rooms, making the hotel an ideal choice for parents and children.
