Motto by Hilton Hong Kong SoHo exterior

Hong Kong has a new opening: Asia’s first Motto by HiltonMotto by Hilton Hong Kong SoHo — is now open in Sheung Wan. The hotel sits at 83 Suen Hing Lane (Suhang Street), about a 2-minute walk from MTR Sheung Wan Station Exit A2 and roughly 10 minutes on foot to the Hong Kong–Macau Ferry Terminal. Central’s core, Victoria Harbour’s cultural landmarks, and nearby creative hubs like PMQ and Tai Kwun are all within easy reach. Set beside Hollywood Road — ranked the world’s second coolest street by Time Out — the neighbourhood blends temples, galleries, and stylish bars, letting visitors “live like a local.” Rooms are now available to book on the official site, with nightly rates from HK$1,086 (about HK$1,116 with service charge).

274 flexible rooms: connecting options, bunks, and view rooms

The hotel’s design ethos is “Urban Fabric,” a distilled portrait of Hong Kong. 274 rooms span smart layouts such as bunk beds, wall beds, and configurations that link up to four rooms — ideal for couples, families, or groups travelling together. Each floor carries a distinct palette to honour Hong Kong’s three regions: Lavender for Hong Kong Island (27–37/F), Sage Green for the New Territories (18–26/F), and Narcissus Yellow for Kowloon (6–17/F). Some rooms face Victoria Harbour or the Mid-Levels’ greenery, inviting a slower city rhythm.

▼ The new “Flex Room” with wall bed maximises space. Fold the bed away and the sleeping area becomes a generous lounge — perfect for city views through floor-to-ceiling windows and for switching between living and sleeping as you like.

Dining highlights: sky-level restaurant · new-style Chinese · French-leaning bar

The hotel features three main venues. The Nams serves contemporary Chinese that blends tradition with innovation. Club 38, perched on a high floor with sweeping harbour views, offers reservation-based dining 24 hours, from Mediterranean-style light bites to premium steaks and signature cocktails; the menu champions local hydroponic produce and sustainability. The Lobby Bar focuses on Champagne and French wines in a relaxed, sociable setting. There is also Corner 83 for specialty coffee and light bites on the go.

17 photo-worthy art spots: style meets culture

The hotel maps out 17 Instagrammable installations, including a “breathing” façade, a signature green glass wall, a Victoria Harbour feature wall, a golden calligraphy-themed lobby bar, and a star-sky elevator. Each corner blends visual impact with storytelling and local cultural cues. A standout is the playful “Ten Brothers Hide-and-Seek” theme, encouraging guests to explore, snap, and connect with Hong Kong’s spirit and the Motto brand narrative.

Sustainability meets design, honouring Hong Kong culture

Built on the legacy of being “one of the world’s greenest hotels,” the reimagined property carries forward sustainability. Highlights include energy-efficient operations with certifications such as BEAM Plus and LEED and reported energy savings of over 58%; DfMA modular construction with 55% of structure prefabricated off-site to reduce noise and environmental impact; and art-integrated design in collaboration with local artists — from wall features to carpet motifs — telling Hong Kong’s story.
