Fuji, you’ll want to check out the new brand from Japan’s FAV HOTEL Group — edit x seven FUJI GOTEMBA. The property will officially open on September 1 in Shizuoka’s Fujigotemba. Designed around the themes of “healing, relaxation, and quality living,” the hotel features private balconies in every room, along with pet-friendly dog-themed rooms — perfect for couples, family getaways, and even travelers with pets.
Bookings are now available through the official website, with rates starting from HK$1,973 per night (including service charge). As part of its grand opening celebration, guests who book and stay before the end of November will also enjoy complimentary breakfast!

12 Room Types – All with Mt. Fuji Views
Located in Fujigotemba, just a 2-minute drive from the Tomei Expressway Gotemba Exit, the hotel offers easy access while maintaining a tranquil retreat. Though there are only 49 rooms in total, guests can choose from 12 different room types. The largest suite accommodates up to 8 guests, with an impressive 154㎡ of space and a huge private terrace. Some rooms even feature a private sauna, while the most popular option is undoubtedly the dog-friendly themed rooms designed for pet comfort. All rooms from the 4th floor and above come with unobstructed Mt. Fuji views — a breathtaking sight at night when you draw the curtains. On the rooftop, there’s also a dedicated dog playground where your furry companions can run freely.

Sauna lovers will be delighted — 9 room types come equipped with private saunas overlooking Mt. Fuji. These saunas are powered by Finland’s century-old METOS stoves and designed under the supervision of sauna expert Mikie Sasano, creating a professional-grade “Saunage” experience. In addition to in-room options, the hotel also features private group saunas on the first floor, accommodating up to 8 people, available for both guests and local visitors.
For dining, the hotel has partnered with Australian coffee brand Latte Graphic to open the new restaurant BASE445, named after the hotel’s elevation of 445 meters. Breakfast highlights include open-faced sandwiches, while dinner features dishes such as Gotemba ham platters and freshly shaved cheese beef tendon Bolognese — all crafted with locally sourced ingredients. Guests can pair meals with craft beer, sake, or wine for a complete experience.
Health-conscious travelers can also enjoy the hypoxic training gym LOX-Fit, simulating conditions at 2,500 meters above sea level to maximize training efficiency — and it’s complimentary for hotel guests.
