Awesome Club Lounge offering at Grand Mercure Patong Phuket Resort and Villas! Nan provides great hospitality and makes the experience 5 stars! She is cheerful, warm and always willing to accommodate any requests, such as ice coffees which is a great addition to the wonderful spread of food and drinks options she prepares and maintains so well!

Absolutely amazing, the pool bar and happy hour are fantastic. The cocktails are amazing and well worth the money. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle but still be in the heart of Thailand. The staff are amazing and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Phuket. We shall return

As seasoned travelers who have come to expect a certain standard of excellence from Mercure hotels around the world, our recent experience at this mercure Hotel was a stark departure from the quality we've grown accustomed to. Despite its affiliation with the Mercure brand, this establishment failed to meet even the most basic criteria for a three-star hotel, leaving us deeply disappointed and disillusioned.From the moment we stepped into the lobby, it was evident that our stay would be marred by subpar service and an overall lack of professionalism. The reception staff, far from the welcoming demeanor we've come to expect from Mercure properties, were rude and dismissive, showing a blatant disregard for guest satisfaction.Upon check-in, we were shocked to be confronted with an unexpected demand for additional payment. Despite having already settled our reservation in advance, the receptionist insisted that we pay an extra fee, citing vague and arbitrary hotel policies that were nowhere to be found in writing. This attempt to extort more money from guests under the guise of hidden charges is both unethical and unacceptable, tarnishing the reputation of the Mercure brand by association.Adding insult to injury, the mercure patong Hotel's handling of the security deposit further exemplifies its lack of transparency and integrity. While it's customary for hotels to require a security deposit, this Hotel's practice of demanding 1000 baht per day, only to reveal upon arrival that it covers the entire duration of the stay, is deceptive and misleading. While the amount itself may not be significant, the blatant attempt to deceive guests with inflated charges is deeply disappointing and reflects poorly on the hotel's integrity.Beyond the issues with pricing and transparency, the overall level of service at the Grand Mercure Patong Hotel left much to be desired. Requests for assistance or information were met with indifference or outright hostility from staff members who seemed more interested in pushing guests through the check-in process as quickly as possible than ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.The condition of our room was another source of disappointment. Far from the clean and comfortable accommodations we've come to expect from Mercure hotels, our room at the Hotel was poorly maintained and in need of refurbishment. From stained carpets to chipped furniture, it was clear that attention to detail was sorely lacking.In addition to the physical condition of the room, the amenities promised on the hotel's website were either unavailable or of substandard quality. Basic necessities such as toiletries and towels were in short supply, and attempts to rectify the situation were met with indifference from hotel staff.In conclusion, our experience at the Hotel fell far short of the standards we've come to expect from Mercure properties. From the rude and unprofessional behavior of the reception staff to the deceptive practices regarding pricing and deposits, every aspect of our stay was marred by disappointment and frustration. As loyal patrons of the Mercure brand, we hope that our feedback will prompt a reevaluation of the standards and practices at the Hotel, ensuring a more positive experience for future guests. However, until significant improvements are made, we cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to fellow travelers.

The overall environment was cosy, staff were polite. Breakfast could have a slightly update each day. Seafood dinner buffet was a bit disappointing ( with some prawns, crabs, squids only, not that fresh).
